Time-Step Analysis

Structure Model

In this example, the analysis of a skeletal structure under earthquake loading (El Centro, 1940) is demonstrated.

The recorded acceleration spectrum is applied to the system, and the response is calculated using time step integration with 800 steps of 0.05 seconds each.

The results provide, for every time step, the deformation, velocity, acceleration, and all internal forces of the structure.

These results can then be used, for example, for reinforced concrete design or for visualization.
