Privacy policy

Your privacy is important to us. For this purpose, all communication with our web server is encrypted via the SSL protocol. The following statement explains what personal data we collect from you when you visit our website and how we use it in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG).

What we collect

The following data is sent to our provider and stored in a log file when visiting our website:

  • Type and version of web browser
  • Operating system that has been used
  • Referrer URL
  • IP address (anonymized)
  • Date and time
  • Transferred data amount

Data cannot be allocated to a person, because the IP address is anonymized.

When downloading documents, programs and further files from our service and download area, the IP address is fully stored. In addition, we also save the license ID you entered when you log in to our service area. This serves to protect against misuse of our services during the performance of the contract pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, letter (b) of the GDPR.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that can be stored by your browser. Every time our website is visited, a so-called ‘session cookie’ is created in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter (f), of the GDPR. This session cookie merely contains a random number to secure the connection and will automatically be deleted after you visited our website. When logging in to our service area, you can save the login information encrypted in another cookie in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter (a), of the GDPR in order to use the information again when visiting our website. This cookie can be valid for up to 6 months. You can set the storage of further cookies to improve the user experience in the cookie policy of our online shop.

Customer data

When using our online shop, the personal data collected when creating a customer account and in the context of your order will be stored electronically for the purpose of fulfilling the contract in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter (b), of the GDPR. With your order, you also give permission to forward your address data to a shipping service provider, insofar as a shipment of goods is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract.

Contact inquiries

When sending us inquiries via our contact form or via e-mail, your information will be stored. The submission of your request is considered as consent within the meaning of the GDPR, Article 6, paragraph 1, letter (a).

Application for employment

If you are applying for employment with us, you consent to the electronic storage of your application documents in accordance with the GDPR, Article 6, paragraph 1, letter (a). All information contained in the application documents will be treated confidentially and will be used exclusively for the current application process. If an employment relationship follows from the application, the personal data remains stored. Otherwise, your data will be deleted two months after notification of the refusal, provided that a longer storage is not justified to safeguard the interests under the German General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

Educational licenses

By submitting your request for granting of an educational license, you declare your consent in accordance with the GDPR, Article 6, paragraph 1, letter (a), that your application together with the associated files and the data generated during program use are stored electronically with us. 

Trial licenses

By submitting your registration for a trial license, you declare your consent in accordance with the GDPR, Article 6, paragraph 1, letter (a), that your data from the registration form, your IP address and the data generated during program use are stored electronically with us.

Diagnostic data

By installing our software, you give your consent to the electronic storage of diagnostic data during program use for the purpose of error and status analysis in the course of contract fulfilling according to Article 6, paragraph 1, letter (b), of the GDPR.

Location and duration of storage

All data transmitted to us will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties. The storage takes place on computer systems within Germany according to the principles of the GDPR, Article 5. The duration of storage depends on the legal retention periods. After expiry of the retention period, the data will be deleted automatically unless a longer storage period is required to fulfill the contract.

Use of FastViewer®

For online support and for our online seminars we use FastViewer. FastViewer is a product of FastViewer GmbH, Otto-Hahn-Ring 6, 81739 München, Germany. By using FastViewer, you agree to the data collection and processing by FastViewer GmbH in accordance with the Privacy Policy for FastViewer.

Use of Whereby®

For online meetings we use Whereby. Whereby is a product of Whereby AS, Gate 1 no. 107, 6700 Måløy, Norway. By using Whereby, you agree to the data collection and processing by Whereby AS in accordance with the Privacy Policy for Whereby.

Use of Google Maps®

For map display of our company location we use Google Maps. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By accessing the Map View, you agree to the data collection and processing by Google Inc. in accordance with the Google Maps Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Right to demand information, object and restrict of processing

You can demand information about your personal data being stored by us. Furthermore, you have the right to correct, delete or block these data. You may also object or restrict the processing of your data. Please use our contact form or the contact address privacy@infograph.eu for any such requests.

Change of privacy policy

We reserve the right to change our privacy policy if necessary due to new or changed legal or technical conditions. The publication of the amended privacy policy will take place on our website. If this results in fundamental changes in the processing or storage of personal data, relevant information will be published on our website.
