Modeling
InfoCAD provides a plenitude of powerful functions for modeling spatial structures. Even complex finite element systems can be generated in a few steps, as demonstrated in the following figures.
-
The structure is designed directly in the CAD interface using edge lines as a wireframe model. Alternatively, the edge can also be imported using one of the numerous exchange formats. -
The boundary elements of the wire model can be easily assigned section, support or surface properties by clicking them. -
The mesh generator recognizes all subareas and generates a mesh for them automatically, taking into account all specified marginal conditions such as downstand beams, supports, openings or support conditions. -
All objects, such as nodes, elements, fixed positions or loads, can be edited individually or in groups without having to regenerate the entire system. Layer and color management ensures clear handling even of complex structures.
