SIA 260: Basics of Planning
Structural Design Projects SIA 261: Actions on Structures
SIA 262: Concrete Structures
The structure standards SIA 260 to SIA 262 replace, in part
the standards SIA 160 and SIA 162 from 1989 and 1993,
respectively. This brings them in line with the European
standards.
|
 |
The InfoCAD program system
covers all relevant sections. As a result, the following
calculation options exist for all structural parts according to
the SIA standards:
- Definition and combination of the actions
- Bending, shearing and torsional design
- Punching shear check
- Crack width limitation
- Nonlinear calculations in state II
- Earthquake check using the response spectrum method

All structure types can be handled
with equal ease, from a simple floor slab to a geometrically
complex prismatic shell structure or solid model. |
 |
| When using the predefined material
types according to SIA (C12/15-C50/60, LC12-LC50/55 as well as
free concrete material, for instance for high-quality
concretes), the program offers the corresponding design
specifications and actions. All partial safety factors and
combination coefficients are automatically set according to the
structure type. The program combines the input and carries out
reinforced concrete bending and shearing design for the design
situations specified. |

Combined support forces are
available for the interactive punching shear check. |
 |
Depending on the requirement (for
instance, moveable frame or tunnel section) a nonlinear
calculation taking into account the cracked section can be
carried out. The calculation is performed either for the
ultimate limit state or the serviceability limit state (more). |

|
The check according to the response
spectrum method allows you to plan structures that take into
consideration the effects of earthquakes (more).
